Policemen attached to the Delta State Command, while on stop and search duty at the bridge between Delta and Anambra States, intercepted a Toyota Hiace bus with over one thousand rounds of live cartridges.
The driver of the vehicle who is a male, was arrested and upon interrogation, he confessed that the live cartridges belonged to one Monday Adibia a native of Ogume in Ndokwa West Local Government Area.

Meanwhile, suspected drug traffickers have been arrested by operatives on crack surveillance at Okwagbe community in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State in South-South Nigeria.
The suspects, two females and a male were arrested during a raid operation.
The police crack surveillance team recovered large quantities of various illicit drugs which included loud cocaine, razlers, Cannabis Sativa and bottles of codeine from the suspects.
According to a statement issued by the Command, the Commissioner of Police, Ari Mohammed, mentioned that all suspects arrested will be prosecuted.
