The PPRO explained that the arrest followed a recent move by the State Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, to rejig the Community Policing template of Maraba axis where several cases of robbery were recently recorded.

The command had received information on April 5 that a gang of 8 armed robbers were attacking some residents of Aso Pada in the Mararaba area.

The Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police commended the efforts of the Operatives, Vigilante group, and members of the Community for their display of bravery and assured them of his continuous support.
