The Lagos State Police Command has rescued three children kidnapped from a school on the Ijegun axis of Lagos on Monday.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, the abductors invaded the school premises and abducted three pupils aged four, five, and six.
Hundeyin said the command, on receipt of the information, went to the scene of the crime and arrested a prime suspect, one Alima Akintola, aged forty, while other suspects involved in the crime are still at large.

According to the police spokesperson, the investigation revealed that Akintola abducted the children for criminal purposes.
The investigation into the matter, Hundeyin says, is still ongoing.
