Following the emergence of Hon Gboyega Aribisogan as the Speaker of Ekiti State house of assembly, security men have taken over the state house of assembly complex in Ado Ekiti.
When ait.live visited the complex on Wednesday, there was heavy presence of security operatives drawn from the police rapid response squad, police counter Terrorism unit and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.
It was gathered that the move was to forestall a breakdown of law and order.

it was also learnt that the assembly staff were ordered home in the early hours of Wednesday by the security operatives.
Efforts to speak with the Ekiti state police public relations officer, Sunday Abutu were not successful as his known phone number was not reachable.
The new speaker of the state house of assembly, Gboyega Aribisogan promised to get back when contacted for his reaction.
