A former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Osun State, Dotun Babayemi, has led political leaders at a forum in Oshogbo, the state capital to pledge support for the socio-political development of the state.
The stakeholders contend that only good governance can lead to sustainable peace and development.
The leaders spoke at a gathering of political Stakeholders from across all the political parties, called on the people to re-strategize towards making Osun state a better place to live.
They agreed there can be no development in an atmosphere of rancour and appealed on relevant stakeholders to close ranks and work for the attainment of a better and greater Osun State.
The stakeholders also restated their commitment to the advancement of democracy, support for small and medium scale enterprises and digital education.
