The Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC in Enugu State, South-East Nigeria has scored high the performance of the outgoing INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Emeka Ononamadu.
The body says, Ononamadu brought sanity into the electoral processes in Enugu State. IPAC State Chairman, Edwin Ikechukwu Alor was speaking at a brief ceremony organised in honour of the outing electoral official.

Alor commended the good working relationship with the political parties in Enugu State throughout the tenure of the outgoing REC, which he said has brought about sanity into the electoral system and increased people’s participation in the conduct of elections.
The outgoing REC, Emeka Ononamadu expressed gratitude to IPAC, civil society groups and the media in Enugu State for their support and cooperation throughout his tour of duty.
He urges IPAC and other stakeholders to maintain the peace of the state without compromising the laws and electoral guidelines of the Commission towards the 2023 general elections.
