The current poor supply of electricity to consumers in Abuja the Federal Capital, Kogi, Niger and the Nassarawa States is due to the low generation of power by the generating companies.
Furthermore, the Abuja Distribution Company has equally said that the customers in the Abuja metropolis will continue to witness blackout until the 19th of February, due to the activities of the Transmission Company of Nigeria at the Apo Transmission Substation.

Consumers across the country have been plunged into darkness in some areas, and epileptic supply in other parts, amidst fuel scarcity.
