President Muhammadu Buhari’s one-day visit to Zamfara State has been cancelled due to poor weather.
The president was expected to visit the state to condole with the government and people over the recent killing of 58 persons in Anka and Bukkuyum Local Government Areas.
Governor Bello Mohammed of Zamfara State said the President was to come to Zamfara State after his engagement in Sokoto State, Northwest, Nigeria, but for the poor weather.

He hinted that President Muhammadu Buhari will reschedule his one-day condolence visit to the state next week.
The governor noted that he has observed the weather in conditions since on Wednesday and concluded that the President will now be able to make the trip.
