The 2023 National Population and Housing Census will hold from March 29 to April 2, 2023.
Chairman of the National Population Commission, Isa Kwarra, made this known after his meeting with President, Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The Chairman said from March 29 to April 2, 2023, the staff of the Commission will be in the field enumerating people across Nigeria.

He assured Nigerians that the technology to be deployed will be able to code buildings, landmass, and detail information such as location and landscapes. He said the digital census will ensure a generally acceptable and credible exercise
Isa Kwarra said non-Nigerians will be counted so long as they are in the country at the time of the exercise.
