President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja this Sunday for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.
The President’s first stop will be London, United Kingdom, where he will spend part of the period on what has been described as a working vacation.
According to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President is expected to return home after the working vacation to join the campaign for the January 2027 election.
The President’s 2026 annual leave comes shortly after Vice-President Kashim Shettima returned from his two-week vacation on August 18, two days ahead of schedule.
President Tinubu also took his 2025 annual vacation in September, spending 10 days in the United Kingdom and France.
