President Bola Tinubu is set to present the 2025 budget to a joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, December 17.
The announcement was made by Senate President, Godswill Akpabio during plenary session on Thursday.
Akpabio stated that the budget proposal presentation would take place in the chamber of the House of Representatives.
The proposed 2025 budget is estimated at N47.9 trillion, as outlined in the 2025-2027 Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP).

The N47.9 trillion budget proposal is based on key assumptions, including a Crude oil benchmark of $75 per barrel, daily oil production of 2.06 million barrels, an exchange rate of N1,400 to US$1, and a targeted GDP growth rate of 6.4%.
