Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State, says, his administration will continue to strengthen the security of the state no matter how costly it takes.
He promised to protect the lives and property of people, he added that the Government have delivered and shall uphold continuity of ensuring security, peace and tranquility in the state.
Idris made the remark while addressing thousands of people at Argungu Township Stadium at the start of statewide thank-you-tour to Local Government Areas.
He urged the people of kebbi to report any suspicious movement or activity of strange persons in their areas to the nearest authority, District or Village Heads or Community Leaders, or any Security personnel.
The administration was confronted with insecurity matters in Kebbi South on assumption of power”,
“People who hitherto left their abodes have returned home to till their farmlands”,
“The government will sustain the provision of necessary farm inputs to farmers to improve production”,
“Kebbi remains the vanguard in agricultural production, especially rice, in Nigeria”,
