Protesting workers at the Ekiti state university, Ado Ekiti have suspended Academics activities at the university campus.
The protesting workers claimed their action is influenced by the inability of members to afford transportation cost to the university campus.
Gathered are members of the Senior staff Association of Nigerian University as well as Non Academic staff union and National Association of Academic technicians at the Ekiti state university, Ado Ekiti.

They are protesting the non payment of four months subvention to the university and non remittance of deductions to cooperative societies and non payment of salaries.
The protesting staff are also want the Government of Ekiti state to call the State’s commissioner for Finance and accountant general to order and ensure prompt release of the subvention earlier approved by the state Governor.
They are demanding the monthly payment of thirty five thousand Naira as palliatives to cushion the effects of the current hardship on their members.
