The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has been blamed for low turnout of registered voters for re-run election in Plateau North Senatorial District to fill vacant seats in the senate and Jos North-Bassa Federal Constituency.
Those who spoke to AIT.live expressed sadness over the noticeable voter apathy.

Most of the polling units visited showed that INEC officials were on the ground before 8am to set up for smooth take-off of the rerun election but the registered voters were no where to be found.
The presence of security agents at polling units was a testament that the safety of the INEC staff and electorate was not in doubt. For Mama Tabitha, she came out to exercise her franchise but could not be captured by the BVAS machine.
