More than twenty-four hours after, the remains of pupils of Army Day Primary School, 3 battalions, Nigerian Army Effurun were still at the scene where they were crushed by a petroleum-laden tanker on Thursday.

Neither the Army authorities nor the school management on Friday could explain why the accident scene has not been cleaned up.

Efforts to get the reactions of the parents who lost their children in the unfortunate incident were not successful as journalists were prevented from entering the barracks.
