The wife of the President, Oluremi Tinubu has donated trucks of assorted food items to Internally Displaced Persons, Persons with Disabilities PWDs and the vulnerable groups in the State.
Senator Tinubu who made the donation in Makurdi says, the gesture is in line with the President’s drive to ensure food security in the country.
The food outreach scheme of the renewed hope initiative social investment programme becomes a reality here in the country’s food basket as Wife of the Vice President Nana Shettima represented the Wife of the President to reach out to the vulnerable.
She also announced a business recapitalization grant of 50,000 naira for a thousand female petty traders that would be launched later in the month across 6 States of the country.

A gesture appreciated by the State Government which pledged to ensure that every single item reaches the targeted beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries expressed joy at the initiative which they want other well spirited individuals to emulate.
