Renovation of Adokiye Amuesimaka Stadium to be completed soon

The playing turf of the Adokiye Amiesimaka sports complex and the Club house of Rivers United will be ready for use before the commencement of the new football season in Nigeria and Continental football.

River state sports commissioner,Boma Iyaye,who stated this in a chat with sports journalists after a tour of the facilities assured that the playing turf will be one of the best in the country when completed.

AIT.live correspondent reports that there is a great difference in the level of work done on the pitch, from when work started about three months ago and the progress made so far.

Rivers State sports commissioner,Boma Iyaye on a tour to ascertain the level of work done on the regrassing of the pitch is optimistic that the contractor will deliver before the start of the season on the continent and domestic scenes, for Rivers United and Rivers Angels to use.

Silent on whether Rivers United will still push it’s case for a champions league slot,Boma Iyaye said the renovation work at the team’s camp and stadium is to ensure that facilities are up to international standards for continental engagement.
