Nigeria’s House of Representatives has condemned the attacks on facilities and infrastructure of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) in different parts of the country.

It calls for synergy between security agencies and officials of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Office to identify, investigate, arrest and prosecute the perpetrators
behind the attacks.

The House has also set up an Ad-hoc Committee to investigate the remote and immediate causes of the incessant inferno on INEC offices in the different parts of the country and report back within three weeks, for further legislative action.
