Residents of Ondo state have begun to feel the impact of the scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol in the country.
AITOnline observed that long queues have continued to build up at various filling stations across the state, most of the dispensing stations remain locked, while others were seen hoarding the product.
Some of the petrol dealers are now selling above the official pump price as motorists continue to groan over shortage of the product.
Filling stations are now selling between One hundred and eighty naira to two hundred and fifty naira per litre.

The roads are also scanty even as transport fares have doubled.
The residents are however appealing to the government and the NNPC to make the product available to ease hardship.
Recall that the federal government had confirmed the presence of adulterated petrol, discovered in the supply chain, which it decided to withdraw from the market, leading to the scarcity.
