Residents of Ekiti State have appealed to the government at all levels to find a lasting solution to the deplorable condition of roads network in the state.
They made the appeal in an interview with AIT on Tuesday.
The residents lamented that the state capital, Ado Ekiti is about to be cut off from the rest of the country as a result of the deplorable condition of the roads.
The residents expressed concern that the poor condition of the roads have made worse the state economic situation and contributing to the insecurity in Ekiti state.
The Commissioner for Information in Ekiti State, Akin Omole has however promised that the state government will fix all affected state roads after the raining season.

The Federal Controller of Works, Ekiti State, Ishaq Lawal also said the federal government is doing its best to fix roads across the state.
The affected roads included Ado Ekiti, Aramoko, Ita Ore road, Ado Ekiti, Iju , Akure road and Ilu omoba – Ijesa Isu road.
