The FCT High Court Judgment, that paved the way for the Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress,APC, to go ahead with its revalidation exercise and the counter order, by a Port Harcourt High Court, restraining the party from going ahead with the exercise following a prayer brought before it by loyalist to senator Magnus Abe, has generated mixed reactions.
While some described the judgement of the FCT High Court, in favour of the Minister of Transportation’s camp, as a welcome development, others happy with the restraining order of the Port Harcourt High Court, described the FCT High Court judgment as a distraction.
The Rivers State chapter of the APC, has not been able to make proper use of its progressive symbol in the last three years ,no thanks to the plethora of court cases that bedeviled the party.
