The Muslim community in Rivers State has condemned what it describes as an ‘unholy’ attempt to truncate the administration of Governor Sim Fubara either by way of impeachment, sabotage or persecution of members of his cabinet
Speaking when he led other Muslim leaders to the Government House Port Harcourt, Vice President General of the River State Council for Islamic Affairs, Nasir Uhor also applauded Governor Fubara for his service-oriented governance, all-inclusive government and open-door policy that have confirmed him as the most Muslim friendly governor so far in the state.
Muslim faithful in Nigeria and other parts of the world are celebrating ‘Eid el Fitr’ which marks the end of the month of Ramadan, where Muslims refuse food and drink between dawn and sunset

To mark the occasion in Rivers State, members of the Muslim community decided to pay Governor Sim Fubara a visit and thank him for the enormous support they’ve enjoyed from his administration
The Muslim community is grateful for the revival of the Muslim pilgrimage in the state.
While assuring him of its continued support, the Muslim community is also quick to condemn what it describes as an ‘unholy’ attempt to truncate the administration of Governor Sim Fubara
For his part, Governor Sim Fubara says he would continue to protect the interest of everyone in Rivers State
The governor further wants Rivers people to stand for truth and justice at all times
He also pledges to continue to defend the interest of the state no matter the cost.
