Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike have attended the Nigeria Police Council meeting at Presidential Villa, Abuja.
This is coming barely 24 hours after members of the Rivers State House of Assembly loyal to Wike began impeachment proceedings against Governor Fubara.

The Nigerian Police Council meeting chaired by President Bola Tinubu also had in attendance the Governors of other states including Bauchi, Nasarawa, Bayelsa, Kogi, Ekiti. Also present is the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
