In preparation for the twenty twenty seven general elections, the People Democratic party in Rivers State has concluded its direct primary election.
The exercise monitored in some part of Obio/Akpor and portharcourt city Local Government Areas had a large turn out of part supporters who came to ensure that their candidates emerge victorious ahead of the general elections in 2027.
The primary election for the federal house of representatives in Ward fifteen Obio/Akpor local government area saw the emergence of Comfort Wokomaty as the sole candidate of the party
Some leaders of the party, while addressing a cross section of party faithful, spoke on the need for members to remain committed to the ideals of the Renewed Hope Family.
Others describe the process as hitch free, saying that it has only set the stage for the big victory that awaits the peoples Democratic party PDP come twenty twenty seven.
With the conclusion of the primary election by the peoples Democratic Party, the political atmosphere in Obio/Akpor and portharcourt City Local Government area is fully charged ahead of the twenty twenty seven general elections.
