The Rivers state chairman of the Labour party Dienye people says the gubernatorial candidate of the party remained comrade Beatrice Itubo who had gone around the nooks and crannies of rivers state selling her manifesto to Rivers people and not one impostor who claimed to be the governorship candidate through a purported court judgment he obtained on the second of February, 2023.
Dienye Pepple and the director of publicity Beatrice Itubo’s campaign organization Dr. Obidinma Obidinma called on all Rivers people to disregard the rumor and come out en masse to vote for comrade Beatrice Itubo and all state assembly candidates of the Labour party.
While calling on all Obidients not to be deterred by what happened in the presidential and national assembly elections, he also charged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to right the wrongs and ensure that all results were uploaded right from the polling unit.
Comrade Beatrice Itubo, a detribalized and impeccable lady, who had led the Rivers state branch of the Nigerian Labour congress NLC successfully without a dent is seeking to govern Rivers state if elected governor come March 11.
