Definite hearing in the case involving Asa Investment Limited and the Kwara State Government over Ile Arugbo has been adjourned to 25th March, 2020 as both parties failed to settle out of court.
Both parties had agreed to settle out of court during the last sitting on the 24th of January.
The two parties met at the Office of the Kwara State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice two times but could not agree on the terms of settlement.
In the terms of settlement, government wanted the land to be left for public interest.

On its part, Asa Investment Limited belonging to the Saraki family proposed that:
1.Government should vacate the revocation order on plots 1,3 & 5 Ilofa road, GRA, Ilorin (Ile Arugbo)
2.Government should rebuild all the demolished buildings and structures on the land and
3.Government should issue a public apology to the aged who were battered and traumatised by the demolition of Ile Arugbo.
Since they could not settle out of court, Justice Abiodun Adebara adjourned definite hearing in the case to the 25th of March.
