Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri says members of other political parties might be in the new second term cabinet that will be unveiled soon.

Governor Diri gave the hint on Thursday, February 29 shortly after the weekly exercise tagged “Prosperity Walk” in Yenagoa.

The Governor who took his second term oath of office on February 14, about two weeks ago is yet to nominate members of his new cabinet. However, there have been speculations as to those who will occupy key political positions in the administration.

Though for now, no political appointments have been made, Governor Diri has 60 constitutional days from February 14 within which he must nominate members of his cabinet.

According to him, construction of a befitting stadium to enable Bayelsa State host national and international competitions is one of the top priorities in his second term.
