Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori has assured motorists and communities at Agbaroh, Ughelli section of the East-West Road that his administration is ready to fund permanent remedial works.
The Governor gave the assurance shortly after inspecting collapsed sections of the road on Saturday.
The Governor stressed that, the intervention must go beyond temporary repairs, noting that, permanent solution should be designed to effectively accommodate the volume of water passing through the area.

Governor Oborevwori described the East-West Road as a critical artery connecting several states in the South-South geo-political zone and beyond.
