The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 5 Command Headquarters, Benin City, comprising Delta and Edo State Police Commands AIG. Arungwa Nwazue has set up a fresh Vigilante Group in Edo State.
According to the Zone’s Public Relations Officer SP Tijani Momoh through a press release on behalf of the AIG, the vigilante known as the Edo State Police Vigilante Group will gather information for the Police and collaborate with the Police to ensure watertight security.
The AIG while urging the people of Edo state to cooperate with the Police and the new vigilante group for utmost policing said their operational modalities will be released in due course.
