Nigeria’s security chiefs including the Minister of Defence are appearing before the National Assembly today over issues of insecurity in the country.
The follows summons issued by the Senate and the House of Representatives who debated the insecurity in the country on resumption from the 5-week recess last week.

While the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu is before the Senate in a closed door session, the Joint Committees on Army, Navy, Airforce, Police and National Intelligence of the House of Representatives are also in a closed-door meeting with Security Chiefs and Minister of Defence
