Senate Approves N2.1 trillion 2023 Supplementary Budget

The Nigerian Senate has approved the N2.1 trillion 2023 supplementary budget sent by President Bola Tinubu.
The approval follows the presentation of the report of its Committee On Appropriation by the Chairman Adeola Olamilekan. In his presentation, Olamilekan said the Committee received inputs from the leadership of relevant sub committees as well as heads of benefiting ministries, departments and agencies provided for in the supplementary appropriation bill.

  2. Recurrent,(Non Debt ) Expenditure: Ministry Of Defence – N346.1 Billion
  3. Police Formations and Commands: N29.6 Billion
  4. Office of the National Security Adviser ….N39.6 billion
  5. Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, N103 billion
  6. Service wide vote ….N515 billion

Total Recurrent Expenditure N1 trillion

  1. State House N28 billion
  2. Ministry Of Defence …N200 Billion
  3. Police Formations and Commands….. N20.3 billion
  4. Office of the National Security Adviser… N10.3 billion
  5. Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security …N97 billion

12 Federal Ministry of Works …N300 billion

13. Federal Capital Territory Administration N100 billion

14. Capital supplementation N220.5
