Senator Ndubueze Condemns Ehime Mbano Killings, Commiserates With Families Of Deceased

The chairman of the Senate committee on works and Lawmaker representing Imo North, Senator Ndubueze Patrick has condemned the killing of security operatives by hoodlums in Ehime Mbano Local Government area of Okigwe zone, Imo State.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser media & Publicity David Nwokorie , Ndubueze describes the acts as an ugly, heinous, and disturbing situation.

The Imo born Lawmaker commiserates with the families of the fallen security personnel, the Imo State Government, as well as all those who fell victim to the dastardly act.

He added that he is saddened and deeply pained at the recurrent and unpleasant attacks on properties and innocent lives in Imo state.

Senator Ndubueze assures the people of Okigwe that actions are ongoing to ensure the apprehension of the perpetrators of these condemnable acts.

He also pleads with the indigenes of the affected communities to let the law take its full course and the security agencies to act with restraint and not engage in reprisals.

According to him, the well-being of ‘Ndi Okigwe’ remains his priority, and high-level engagements will be made to ensure that peace, safety, and sanity return to the affected areas.

The Senator also commends the Governor of Imo State ,Hope Uzodinma for his swift response and intervention in the matter.
