The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has dismissed two lecturers from the Department of General Studies and the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Development who were found culpable of sexual harassment by the various investigation committees instituted by the institution against them.
Briefing journalists, after a regular meeting of the Council at the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, the Rector, Sunusi Gumau, explained that the decision was taken after the findings of various reports before arriving at the dismissal of the two lecturers.
The affected lecturers are Musa Baba, from the Department of General Studies and Adebusoye Michael Sunday from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Development.

Gumau said due process was followed including the extant laws of the Polytechnic after setting up various committees to investigate the cases.
