The Vice President joins other world leaders from over 130 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America at the event themed “High-quality Belt and Road Cooperation: Together for Common Development and Prosperity.”
The Belt and Road Forum provides a platform for Nigeria to woo investors for more developmental projects, as the 2023 edition marks the 10th anniversary of the BRI Initiative championed by President of China, Xi Jinping, as an initiative for global infrastructure development strategy.
VP Shettima will be from China for the United States of America, USA, where he is expected to deliver the keynote address at the African Development Bank (AfDB) and World Food Prize facilitated by Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue, slated for October 24, 2023.
