Vice President Kashim Shettima has assured Nigerians that the Tinubu Administration has the capacity to address the fuel subsidy issue.
He was speaking on his first day in office at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday
There has been an increase in petrol queues at filling stations and an arbitrary hike in price by marketers following the announcement of an end to fuel subsidy by President Tinubu at his inauguration on Monday.
The Vice President said the subsidy issue must be tackled headlong in the interest of the masses

He also reiterated Government’s commitment to a single-digit interest rate.
Shettima paid tribute to media mogul, Raymond Dokpesi who died on Monday.
The Vice-President assured that the Tinubu administration is poised to redefine the concept of modern governance by providing good leadership for the realisation of the Nigerian dream.
