Four suspected IPOB and ESN collaborators have been apprehended by troops of 63 brigade/sector 1JTF operation Delta Safe during a raid on their hideout in Okpanam, Oshimili North local government area of Delta State.
The commander of 63 brigade, Brigadier General, M A. Shonibare said intel operations from 26th July 2025 to August 1st 2025 led to the arrest of thirteen suspects.
He noted that after profiling, four of the suspects were confirmed to be IPOB/ESN collaborators, while the remaining nine were found to have no links with the proscribed groups and would be released to their families on sureties.

The confirmed suspects whose identities are, Hossana John, Obassy Maduabuchi, Nwamini Nduka and Aguyi Uchenna have been handed over to the 63 Military Intelligence Regiment for proper profiling.
