South Africa has expressed its readiness to work with the Cross River State Government to develop the state’s tourism infrastructure
South African Consul General to Nigeria, Bobby Moroe, said this when he led a visiting team to visit Governor Ben Ayade in Calabar.


Moroe said Cross River tourism destinations are largely untapped, and said the partnership will provide opportunities to harness and develop those potentials’
He said when in full swing, tourism will be an all-year round business especially in Calabar.

State Commissioner for Commerce, Rosemary Archibong who represented Governor Ben Ayade said Cross River is ready for the new tourism collaboration which she said will open a new chapter of tourism development in the state.
