Nigeria’s Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Sunday Dare has expressed optimism about the country winning medals from wrestling in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics games in Japan.
The sports minister who is in Bayelsa state on a 2-day working visit to see the level of preparation of the country’s wrestling team ahead of the Tokyo Olympics games also paid a visit to the state Deputy Governor.

He commended the state government for the demonstration of dominance in combat sports, just as he assured that the federal government will upgrade the state-owned Aso-ama sports academy into a world-class sports institution.
