SSANU Kicks Against FG’s Age Requirement Policy For WASCE, NECO

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU has kicked against the proposed enforcement of 18 years for writing WASCE, NECO and admission benchmark into universities.

SSANU President, Mohammed Haruna at a briefing in Abuja said the minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman must realise the changing times and engage in wider consultations before pushing for the enforcement of any policy at all

On the owed four months withheld salaries of SSANU members, Mohammed Haruna says it is a ticking time bomb as non-teaching staff are ready at any time to downtools.

The SSANU President also condemned the attack on Labour leaders and encouraged the security to engage more on dialogues

SSANU urges the federal government to expedite action on the renegotiated 2010 agreement
