The Chairman of Edo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Anthony Aziegbemi has addressed the controversy over the scheduled date for the conduct of the State House of Assembly and House of Representatives primaries in the State, stating that the exercise is billed to hold on May 22, 2022.
The Edo PDP Chairman made the clarification against the backdrop of conflicting dates which had trailed the commencement of the exercise in the State.
Anthony Aziegbemi says the Primaries will be held across the state.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Committees saddled with the responsibility of conducting the Primaries for the State House of Assembly and House of Representatives in Edo State assured members of the party that they will provide a level playing field for Aspirants as the Adhoc and National delegates proceed to elect candidates for the respective positions.

The Primaries are expected to produce twenty four candidates for the State House of Assembly and Nine for the House of Representatives.
