Nasarawa state Governor, Abdullahi Sule

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, says many state governors are now benefiting from the bold decision by President Bola Tinubu to remove fuel subsidy, which has freed up resources for development across the states.

Governor Sule stated this in Lafia when he received members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors media tour team.

He said many states of the federation could have been plunged into deeper debt without the economic reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration

The fuel subsidy removal policy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, initially viewed by many Nigerians as a harsh economic decision, is now being described as a major financial relief for state governments.

With increased allocations from the Federation Account, state governors now have more resources to provide critical infrastructure and improve the welfare of their people.

The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, says the removal of fuel subsidy has become a saving grace for states and other sub-national governments.

The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, says the President deserves commendation for taking bold decisions that previous administrations failed to implement over the years.

The Presidential Renewed Hope Ambassadors Media Tour Team comprises experienced journalists from various media organisations. The team is visiting states across the country to assess, first-hand, how the increased federal allocations are being utilised to execute projects and deliver development to the people.
