Chairman of the Joint Action Committee of the Plateau State Specialist Hospital in Jos, North-Central Nigeria says the over two-week old strike embarked upon to press home workers demands for better working conditions will continue until government does the right thing.
When AIT.live visited the hospital the ever busy facility was a shadow of itself with no activity ongoing.

Chief Medical Director of the hospital says providing medical services has been challenging as without the other healthcare workers, doctors are left helpless.
As at the time of filing this report, representatives of government and the Union were preparing for another round of talks aimed at putting an end to the industrial action.
