The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA has won the Supplementary election in the Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State, Southeast Nigeria.
The returning officer for Saturday’s election in that constituency, Professor Augustine Ibegbu, says the candidate of APGA, Joseph Nwobashi, polled a total of 11,896 votes to emerge
winner of the Supplementary election.

Nwobashi’s closest rival and the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Emmanuel Nwite, got 11,150, votes while the All Progressives Congress, APC’s candidate, Nora Alo, secured 10, 085 votes to come third.
Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency is where the APGA Governorship candidate, Prof. Bernard Odo comes from, and the only National Assembly seat won by the party in the state.
