Some Supporters of the eleven Governorship aspirants of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo state have staged a peaceful protest against the adoption of Indirect primaries as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Armed with placards with different inscriptions, they vehemently rejected the indirect primary mode of election.
The agitators called on the leaders of the party to adopt direct primary election to select the party’s candidate to avoid imposing the minority over the majority.

The supporters want the National working committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC to adopt the direct mode system to achieve Fairness and equity among all the twelve aspirants, to avoid the scenario that played out in Zamfara and Rivers state.
