The Supreme Court has reserved judgement in an appeal filed by the Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, challenging the verdict of the Court of Appeal which removed him as governor of the state on the grounds that the appellant did not submit his New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP membership or even tender his statement on oath regarding his membership of the party,
The court also added that the name of Abba is not in the NNPP membership register.
On these grounds the Court of Appeal affirmed the decision of the Kano State Election Tribunal.
