The Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has called on members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to consider the Supreme Court verdict which affirmed candidates loyal to him as the authentic flagbearers of the PDP in the general elections as an end to the strife within the State Chapter of the party.
Governor Obaseki made this call in a statement signed by him noting that the ruling of the Supreme Court is a victory for all members and as such all hands should be on deck to ensure victory in the elections.

The Governor who is the leader of the PDP in the State says members should channel their efforts toward removing the All Progressives Congress, APC, from power given the ongoing economic and security challenges in the country.
He called on them to speak with one voice against the real opponents as the PDP is big enough to accommodate the different interests.
