Suspected terrorists have reportedly killed four policemen in Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Northwest Nigeria.
The victims were said to have mounted a checkpoint along the Bungudu-Gusau-Sokoto highway to conduct routine stop-and-search, when the suspected terrorists, who were said to be on their way back from a certain community where they went to rustle cattle, launched the attack on the policemen.
A resident of Bungudu town, Kabiru Bungudu, told AIT reporter that the suspected terrorists killed four policemen who were carrying out their duties along the road.
