Taraba State has commenced the process of employing additional one thousand, eight hundred persons into its civil service.
This is coming on the heels of absorption of three thousand personnel in the public service
The much awaited recruitment exercise into the Taraba State civil service has begun, and expectly, the turnout has been massive. This maybe a reflection of the scarce employment opportunities in the country.
The recruitment exercise is coming over one month after the proper absorption of over 3000 persons into the civil service, who were illegally employed through questionable procedures.
The Chairman of the Taraba State Civil Service Commission, Philip Kundila said the State Governor Agbu Kefas granted approval for the recruitment of additional 1,800 persons into the State Civil Service.
Kundila cautioned applicants against falling victims to employment fraud, urging all interested persons to follow due procedures.
The Permanent Secretary of the Commission, David Nya, further explained that the recruitment process will be free and fair.
