Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has approved the setting-up of a 14-man committee to assess and recover all state owned across Nigeria.
The committee is to be chaired by retired Major General Habila Vintenaba In a statement released by the state government, the committee is expected to begin work immediately within the stipulated terms of reference.

The press statement specifically identified the Federal Capital Territory, Kaduna, and Lagos States as some of the key areas of focus of its assets inventory.
The committee is to further evaluate the monetary and economic values of such assets, both movable and unmovable.
The committee is also expected to determine the usefulness of these assets and make recommendations through a report to be submitted to the Taraba State Government within four weeks.
