The kick-off of the distribution had principals from secondary schools across the 16 local government areas of the state gather in Jalingo, to receive the science kits.

Commissioner for Science and Technology, Muslim Usman, says the kits contain items for physics, chemistry and biology subjects, and will aid students in scientific innovation.

He added that, laboratories will be built in schools that have none.

Governor Kefas, represented by his deputy, Aminu Alkali, says science and technological development, play a strategic role in economic development.

The distribution aims to secure a bright and innovative future for the benefiting students.
